Soap&Glory A Great Kisser Lip Balm in 'Juicy Peach' | 8 weeks of S&G #3 | Review

Where do I start? Hmmm... I think I'm just going to jump straight into it!
I wouldn't call this a lip balm, I would call it a lip gloss in a tin. I don't see this as a bad point in the slightest, I just thought it's too sticky and thick to be a lip balm although as far as I'm aware, it does everything a lip balm should.

So first off, to get the usual packaging adoration out of the way, pink and orange? what's not to like?!

The product itself is very sticky but not in an annoying way because of the consistency and viscosity, you would expect it to be so. The colour is, as the flavour would suggest, very peachy but when applied onto the lips is a lovely nude with a hint of peachy orange-ness. The flavour/scent is absolutely divine too! It's not sickly sweet but is still quite strong.

I use this at least once a week because I almost miss it if I don't wear it for a few days. I love it but I would say it was slightly over priced at £5 but it does last a long time so it's on the verge of being worth it!

Soap&Glory The Breakfast scrub | 8 weeks of S&G #2 | Review

I've only really ever used one other body exfoliator which I love but this is giving it a run for it's money!

I don't know where to start, I feel like I shouldn't bother mentioning how cool the packaging is because it's kind of a given when it comes to Soap&Glory! It's 300ml which is a decent amount and I love the shape of the pot.

Now onto the smell, aaahhhhhhhhh the smell :) It's one of the nicest smells I've ever smelt! At first I was a bit iffy on it but I very quickly grew to adore it! The only way I can describe it is this: It smells like baked brown sugar, honey and maple syrup but less sweet, but still sweet, it's just so nice!

This scrub is alot less watery than my previous one and when I first scooped it out I thought it was going to be too rough but it really isn't, it's great at tackling any dry skin and works really well.

This is an all-round great scrub and I will definitely be repurchasing it! It may be very slightly over priced at £9.50 for the amount you get but I would say it was worth it.

Soap&Glory Foam Call body wash | 8 weeks of S&G #1 | Review

I've never been one for fancy/ expensive body washes or shower gels but for some reason I was drawn to the Soap & Glory ones and chose this one.

First off, as per usual with Soap & Glory, I love the packaging! It's just so fun and girly but not too girly that it's off-putting. This is a massive 500ml and as far as I know, it doesn't come in a smaller size which could be a down side but to be honest it's easy-peasy to decant into a smaller bottle!

The smell is absolutely lovely, at first I wasn't too sure but it grew on me and I actually look forward to using it. It says it contains notes of frozen yuzu (no idea what that is!), orange oil, green fig and jungle pomelo essence. It also contains peppermint essential oils. To me it mostly smells like the fig and orange with a slight zingieness from the peppermint. It just smells lovely, fresh and clean to me, exactly what you want in a body wash.

The consistency is just perfect in my opinion, it's not thick like a cream but it isn't really runny either, it's the perfect middle ground. And if you hadn't guessed by the name of it, it foams up as you rub it on your skin. I use about 4-6 pumps of this into my hand for my whole body, one pump is surprisingly small, that's why I use so many!
Overall, awesome. Awesome smell, awesome lather, awesome packaging. Just all round awesome. There are other S&G body washes out there but for now I'm perfectly happy with this beauty! And has a great price tag of £6.50, that's £1.30 per 100ml, worth every penny!

8 Weeks of Soap & Glory

After writing my last blog post, I realised that I have quite a few Soap & Glory products and have only blogged about 2 of them so I thought I would blog about ALL OF THEM! Not all at once obviously, that would be a very long post.

Over the next 8 weeks I'm going to publish 8 reviews on 8 Soap & Glory products, 1 every week. I Actually have 13 S&G products but 2 of them I've already blogged, 2 of them are the same and 2 of them I can't review yet because they are hair products and I don't want to use them during school time in case they don't work for me and I end up with horrible hair (I hope not though!).
If you would like to read my 2 previous Soap & Glory reviews here are the links (They will open in a new tab):

In case there was a product you had been wanting to see a review of or something like that, I have set an order I will post them in and each one will be posted on Saturday.

Week 6: Clean On Me Shower Gel- 16th February
Week 7: Flake Away Body Polish- 23rd February
Week 8: Extreme Plump XL Lip Gloss- 2nd March

(The last blog may be published on the 1st/4th of March because the 2nd-3rd is my 16th Birthday weekend and I don't know if I'll be busy all day on the Saturday or not!) :D

Soap & Glory Glow All Out luminizing powder | Review

I'm a huge fan of Soap and Glory and I've never been disappointed by any of the products I have tried... until now. I usually do a lot of research into a product that I'm thinking of buying and I'd been wanting a highlighter for my cheeks for a while and had looked at others but for some reason I was drawn to this in Boots, so I bought it.

First off, I love the packaging. I like that it's fun and less 'serious' than other brands and doesn't look like it's trying too hard. Plus it has a mirror which is always a bonus. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end for me.

The product itself comes in one colour and unfortunately it's too dark for me. The powder is skin coloured and has very fine, gold glitter in it, this glitter is good but the powder shows up on my pale skin and looks a bit odd. I'm certain it would look lovely on someone who has normal-tan coloured skin but not pale people like me. (Although after taking the pictures I don't think you can tell from them and the colour of it changes in the pictures slightly because the lighting changed, it's a peachy pink colour).

This is the best picture I could get of it, the lighting was absolutely terrible so this was the best I could do!

So it's not the quality of the product at all, on the Boots website it has great reviews, it's just the colour that lets in down for me. Maybe I'll start using it in the summer when my skin isn't as pale as it is currently but for now it's staying at the bottom of my makeup box.

If you are interested in reading the reviews on the Boots website here is the link. I think it's slightly over priced at £11 but I think if you had the right skin colour it could be worth it! :)
